I think it's funny and only mildly pathetic that the one thousandth visit to the pub is my own.

I also think a thousand hits in a month and a half isn't terrible for me; the Skull & Pumpkin is neither sexy, clever nor controversial.

Just a quiet, spooky little public house, for the relaxed gathering of old friends and new.

Think I'll have me another. I'm not driving.

I live here.

  1. Mike C:

You have a charming little place here. And lots of interesting goodies to see and play with. I had almost forgotten about the Osmonds visit to the Haunted Mansion. And the jukebox--great selections!

I, for one, have read every entry. I may not add many comments, because I usually don't have anything interesting to add. As time goes by, more people will check it out--until then, maybe think of it as more of an exclusive club of people with good taste in holidays!

    Keep it up, sir.

    All the best,

  2. Haha! Good man! Don't get me wrong, I do not expect or ask anyone to comment on every little thing, or even on anything at all. I was just having fun with the idea that it was my own visit which prompted a 'hey, I've had a thousand hi-- awww, nevermind!' I laughed pretty hard!
I know you are a regular patron of the ol' Skull & Pumpkin. I appreciate it, and enjoy your comments and asides, and camaraderie. THAT'S what a good pub is for, after all.
